Open
Open shelving units are ideal for economical, general purpose storage. They allow light to penetrate a storage area and provide for free air flow around stored materials.
Standard side and back sway braces made from 12 gauge steel are used to stabalize open shelving units. Braces are punched to attach to upright posts with nuts and bolts.

Closed
Closed shelving units are ideal for applications where stored materials require additional protection or containment. Closed units utilize back and side sheets with the basic post/shelf connection for strength and stability.
Backs and sides are made from 24 gauge cold rolled steel and attach to angle posts with nuts and bolts.

| Connection/Posts
Upright posts for clip shelving are available in two styles: angle and beaded. Angle posts are the most economical design while beaded posts offer clear access to shelves for easier loading and unloading. Both posts are roll-formed from heavy gauge steel and feature shelf support holes on 1 1/2" centers. |

| Styles of Available Shelves
Choose from the original open flange shelves or the new Series 2000 High Capacity Shelves. |

| Plain shelves are available in 18 gauge Heavy Duty Shelves and 20 gauge Medium Duty Shelves. The capacities vary by size and gauge of steel. Several reinforcing options are also available as shown. |
 With three capacity ranges, there is a Series 2000 shelf for every storage need. Choose the shelf size in heavy, medium or light duty construction (18, 20, or 22ga.) that meets capacity requirements. Select standard widths of 24" to 60" and standard depths of 9" to 36".
Series 2000 shelves are roll formed with box formations in the front and rear of the shelf providing high capacity ratings without additional reinforcing. Shelves are punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1" centers; shelf faces are punched to accommodate label holders. |
