    ]]>     Cantilever racks were developed for items such as lumber, steel, plastics, extrusions, pipes or any other product requiring long unobstructed multilevel storage. Adjustable, economical and easy to install are just a few of the attributes that make Cantilever racks the right choice for the storage of long products.

    The Arm

    Efficiently designed arms utilize every ounce of steel in a way that provides maximum strength. Choose from tapered and box styles with 48″ arm capacities to 5000 lbs. The ends come as flush, extended end stops or with pockets for removable end stops.

    Cantilever columns are formed from heavy gauge steel and utilize a lap and welded design to provide two metal thicknesses on the face of the column where forces are greatest. All come with 4″ widths across the face, depths to 24″, heights to 25′ and capacities up to 50,000lbs. per side. Each is also vertically adjustable in 4″ increments.

    The Base

    Each column type has its own base, providing ease of selection and continuity in design. Tabs are welded to the front and rear of each base for floor anchoring purposes. The same accessories that are fitted on the arm ends may also be ordered for the bases.

    INCA Gravity Rack is made up of several components designed to be easily assembled and changed if production demands. Adjustments of shelves, tracks, and guides for new product sizes is fast and easy.

    The frame is the support structure for the complete gravity rack unit. It provides the support for the shlves. Straight frames or 10� layback types are available.

    Straight front racks are commonly used for “full-case” picking. 10� layback racks are used for “split-case” order picking. Straight front racks require less space than 10� layback racks.

    gravityshelvesShelves are welded construction and designed to provide maximum strength. The shelf provides a sturdy base for tracks and guides. A strong front retainer withstands impact from oncoming products. Numbered mounting tabs infront and rear retainers allow easy installation of tracks and guides. Shelves rest on sturdy shelf clips mounted in frames. Vertical shelf height adjustment in frame is made quickly and easily.

    trackThe track provides support and automatic “gravity” movement of products. Strong multi-formed steel channel holds high-density plastic wheels.

    The guide is installed between the tracks to create product lanes in the shelf. It also helps “guide” cartons, keeping them in their designated lanes.

    braceThe sway brace bolts onto the frames and provides stabilty for each gravity rack bay.

    The distance between the front and back beams is the same as the frame depth on both M-I and Teardrop Racks. These racks are also punched on 2″ centers. The distance from beam to beam on Slotted Racks is 1/2″ less than frame depth. Slotted Racks are punched on 3″ centers.
